The "Words in the
Mind, Words in the Brain" Project is a scientific collaboration
of 42 psychologists, linguists, and neurolinguists heading
laboratories in 20 different countries.
The project is funded by a Major Collaborative Research Initiative Grant
from the Social Sciences and Humanities Research
Council of Canada.
Our international research team is leading initiatives that:
- create new knowledge concerning how words are represented
in the mind and brain;
- create new methods of psycholinguistic and neurolinguistic
research;
- create new methods of assessment for persons suffering
language disturbance subsequent to brain damage.
